Hello everyone,
Have been wanting to put together our holiday update for the last couple of weeks, and here it finally is... enjoy :)
November & December were filled with lots of FUN holiday festivities here in The Tumas Trio household! Thanksgiving was celebrated at the Gautreau Home this year, Bob's aunt & uncle's place. We sure had a great time, especially with the rapidly growing "grandchildren" group... Zoey, her cousins Greg & Gabriella, and the newest addition baby Kaylin, the kid's 3rd cousin (I think that's how it works :) The youngest one in the group was Auntie Shellee & Uncle Bill's little "bun in the oven" due end of March... we can't wait to meet this little one. Lots of good food and fun family time together.
Next came Nana Lina's birthday celebration on Nov. 29th here at our house. Uncle Matt & Auntie Ariel were with us too, and we all had a fun time, especially Zoey who entertained the group with her amazing ability to bring out to the living room just about every stuffed animal toy from her play room... when asked for the leopard, she brought out the leopard and so on, little smarty! She wasn't too sure what to think about the ice cream cake, but liked dipping her finger into the frozen cream frosting :) So glad we could celebrate here with you Nana!
Christmas was just too much fun this year... what a difference from last year with our 7 month old "little baby girl". Zoey has become her mommy's shopping buddy now, as we collected our gifts for everyone this holiday season. We joined Uncle Rimus, Aunt Rita & family for a holiday get-together at their place, attended nana's annual Christmas concert with The Towne Singers, enjoyed some fun holiday playtime at the local mall with our play buddies, visited the EATM Zoo for the Arctic Lights Event, and had a great time meeting Santa in person - I think Zoey was a bit star-struck! Her favorite DVD for the season was "Santa is Coming to Town", and I think she mastered saying "Santa" the first day she watched it. In fact we love Santa so much in our house right now, I think he will be making a TV appearance here till Spring :) He was very generous this year too, bringing Zo a red wagon that we now take "wagon walks" in with Emmy almost daily. Christmas Eve we celebrated at Nana Lina's house, eatting lots of food and opening even more presents with Uncle Matt & Auntie Ariel. Christmas morning the 3 of us enjoyed some family time together, and then headed to grandma & grandpa Johnson's to complete the day's festivities with the whole family. Little Miss Zoey scored again and got her first play kitchen with a TON of accessories from grandma, grandpa & Auntie Amy. Turns out she's become quite the little cook around here! What a wonderful holiday time it was with our little girl.
Hoping you & yours had a wonderful time together too...
Enjoy the photos,
