This year was even more fun as we again celebrated the holiday at gram & pa Johnson's place. They actually had over 1700 people come to their door... YES 1700! It's like New Year's Eve but all familys and lots of little kids, so very family-friendly :) Cousin Lillee and her parents joined in for her first Halloween, and we had a great time walking the neighborhood with the whole family. Zoey chose her outfit this year and decided to be a ghost... "a silly ghost not a scarey ghost" as she put it. My mom and I always put homemade outfits together for me every year growing up, and I want to keep the tradition going (as long as Zo goes along with it :), so she dressed in leggings & a turtleneck top then put on a small pillowcase with holes cut out for her head & arms, we drew a silly face with crayon on the front too. Have to share Cousin Brella dressed in an Animal Caretaker 's outfit with a monkey doll hanging from her shoulder and when asked who she was she said "I'm Auntie Holly",I felt very proud, thanks Brel :) As we walked door-to-door Zo really got into it telling us "vamanos, let's go everyone", gotta love that Dora! This was also Zoey's first experience with candy (aside from the occasional sugar-free lollipop from her doctor), and she enjoyed it thoroughly... gummy lifesavers were the chosen fave. We brushed our teeth extremely well that night :) Hope you all had a fun Halloween too!
This is the story of our family & our amazing experiences with our beautiful little gift of a daughter, Zoey Emelia... we hope you all enjoy, and are so glad you stopped by to check in with us! proud parents Holly & Bob

September Adventures!
Hello family & friends...
wanted to share some of the highlights from the month of September, and as I added in the photos I realized just how BUSY we've been having fun! Another fun beach day with our buddy Ashley & her momma Lori starts things off, then you see Zo lovin on her new VERY BIG teddy, affectionately named "Momma Bear". Next we went to St. Jude's Fall Festival, enjoying some yummy food with family & a couple of our neighbor friends before Zo passed out in her stroller :) We've had a lot of fun at our toddler class with our local Park & Rec, perfectly named "Toddlers in Motion" (that's Zoey running full speed down the "ant hill" at the park). Zoey continues to enjoy her "Thursdays with grama", as they often head to the park in the wagon tackling the swings & monkey ropes, her favorite. We joined our friends up at the EATM Zoo to celebrate our good friend Mara's upcoming wedding with a fun shower, and we round out the month with some photos of our RV camping trip back to El Capitan State Beach... all the while having lots of fun with our pup Emmy, as you can see :) Hope you are all enjoying some Fall fun as well... more to come with our October update soon!
