Halloween 2012

This year after contemplating very seriously over her costume ideas (a my little pony, minnie mouse, a fairy and my favorite, a wedding bride, aye yie yie!!!) Zoey decided to be a "good witch". And thanks to Grandma Terry & Grandpa Dale she had the start to a great costume... all mom had to do was add in a cool hat & broom and we were off & flying. After starting the day off reading a story to Belle :), we carved our pumpkins finally, and then trick & treated in our neighborhood for the first time, discovering our neighbors really know how to decorate and give out some great treats :) Hope everyone had a safe & fun one!!!

Great Grandma Marge's 90th Birthday Celebration!

Zoey & I joined Grampy Pat & Grama Mary on a trip to Laughlin, NV to celebrate Grampy's mom's 90th birthday with close to the entire family! After a full day on the road we made it for our stay at Harrah's Hotel & Casino and met up with Uncle Matthew and Auntie Ariel right away. After a yummy dinner we played at the hotel arcade where we scored lots of tickets playing skee ball AND Uncle was cheered on racing his motorcycle... Zoey thought that was pretty cool. Saturday we went swimming at the pool and had fun with lots more uncles, aunts, cousins Caitlin (sp?, sorry cous) and Abigail and of course the bday gal herself, and capped off the partying with a family dinner at a great Mexican restaurant. After dinner the night was pretty much complete with an amazing slide show set to music honoring Great Grandma Marge's life... awesome job putting it together brother. We sure missed all those who couldn't make the trip, but it was so great to be able to spend this special occasion with you G-Ma and family! And so great for Zoey to meet her cousins and some of the family for the first time :) We love you G-Ma!

School Fieldtrip to the Pumpkin Patch

We had a great time with Zoey's classmates and parents visiting the best local pumpkin patch in town. It's the same one we had her Fall Fest at but even MORE fun going on a weekday with less people... more time on the bouncer, in the hay bale maze, the corn pit etc.! Zo still loooooves collecting things, ie. the corn husk bouquet, it came home with us of course :) Especially LOVE her class pictures we took, bunch of cutie-pies.
