The beginning of March brought us our newest animal addition to the family... introducing Belle, named by Zoey for Princess Belle of course, a lab mix pup who is settling right in with everyone. We adopted her at 6 1/2 weeks old & about 8 pounds, and she's now nearly 3 1/2 months and about 25 pounds... looking to be a good size girl! Em & Bud are doing great with her, and Zoey has become quite the little animal trainer! Just before Belle moved in we had a big snow (for us) and made the biggest snowman in the neighborhood... it was quite the hit with the kids coming home on the bus that day! The last week of the month Grandpa & Grandma Mandelkow & Cody pup came over from OR & Great Grandpa Willy & the "2 Aunties" Jorja & Susie came through on their way home to MN from AZ... we had quite the packed house and lots of crazy fun spending time together, including an adventure up to the Monument, playing Bocci Ball & flying our first kite, a Princess one of course! THANK YOU family for making the trip to see us! April brought Easter Sunday and fun festivities with Nana here in town from CA... we dyed eggs, made a bunny cake, explored town and ate way too many sweet & yummy things! And in the middle of it all we continued to play with our pets & friends A TON... and as Spring is here our work has begun taking care of 2 acres of manicured property... it's a good thing we 3 like to plant, mow, trim, weed, plant so more etc... thank heaven for ride-on mowers!
